What the Complete Edition Includes
Total War SHOGUN 2 Complete Edition is an updated and enhanced version of Total War: SHOGUN 2, the 2011 strategy game, bundled with all of its DLC in one package. It is a remaster-style re-release, not a brand-new game. Creative Assembly and MATABOO developed it, and SEGA published it.
The package covers three campaigns. The original Sengoku campaign is set in the sixteenth century, when the goal is to become Shogun by taking Kyoto. Rise of the Samurai covers the twelfth-century Gempei War, where the Taira, Minamoto and Fujiwara families split into six playable clans. Fall of the Samurai starts in 1864 during the Boshin War and adds nineteenth-century firearms, artillery and modern warships. Together, the content spans the years 1175 to 1876.

Price, Discounts and Where to Buy
The Complete Edition costs $39.99 on the US Steam store. Regional prices vary by country. You can compare the current listing on the official Steam store page before you buy.
The Complete Edition is sold on Steam, the Epic Games Store, the Microsoft Store and GOG. Buying on Steam also includes the original SHOGUN 2 and all of its DLC, except the Blood Pack, which is excluded because of its age rating. Buying on the other three stores gets you the Complete Edition only. Since September 28, 2026, the original game can no longer be bought on its own on Steam, but existing owners keep playing it unchanged.
